Researchers evaluated a national virtual continuing professional development (CPD) program in gynecological oncology for more than 100 specialists and fellows in Iran, using the Kirkpatrick Model to assess participant satisfaction and knowledge acquisition. Delivered through a Moodle-based learning management system, the program featured multimedia content, interactive modules, forums, and webinars. Results showed high satisfaction: 64.42% felt the content met objectives, 75% were pleased with how it was delivered, and 82.69% rated the course facilities highly. Knowledge scores improved significantly from pretest to posttest, with a small to moderate effect size. The findings underscore the effectiveness of virtual CPD in enhancing professional competencies in low-resource settings.
