Now Available: CE Educator's Toolkit Provides Best Practices in Educational Design

The CE Educator's Toolkit is now available to provide educators best practices and guidelines for effective continuing education (CE) delivery. The Society for Academic Continuing Medical Education developed the toolkit, which covers three CE interventions. Interventions include small-group learning to uphold development of social, communication, and leadership skills. Also highlighted is case-based learning to nurture critical thinking via exposure to real-world situations, promoting collaboration and interprofessional learning through inquiry. The third approach is reflective learning, which fosters self-awareness and lifelong learning, while flagging individual learning gaps and areas for improvement. The toolkit can also track learners' progress using mini-case scenarios, guiding questions and assessment tools.
