More Updates About New PARS: Coming Summer 2021

ACCME Highlights (03/25/21)

The Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education's forthcoming improved Program and Activity Reporting System (PARS) incorporates updates based on feedback from the CME community and other stakeholders. The Reporting Year, Competencies, Hours of instruction, and In-kind commercial support fields will be removed. CME providers who offer activities with the same content multiple times will only need to enter the activity once, specifying the date and location for each instance. In addition, providers registering activity counting toward Continuing Certification/Maintenance of Certification for multiple certifying boards will only have to complete one attestation. Additional PARS updates will include a more powerful CME Finder that allows easier searches for accredited CME activities that address clinicians' needs.
