New Joint Accreditation Leadership Summit Report Explores Transformative Value of IPCE

Joint Accreditation for Interprofessional Continuing Education (03/18/21)

A new report highlights the transformative value of interprofessional continuing education (IPCE) presented at the 2020 Joint Accreditation for IPCE Leadership Summit. The event convened more than 250 IPCE professionals from more than 100 organizations to consider IPCE's role in developing a collaborative learning culture for healthcare teams. The report covers presentations on IPCE professionals' stress-management strategies during the COVID-19 era and how IPCE can support the health and well-being of the healthcare professional workforce. Also highlighted are best IPCE practices of jointly accredited providers and guidelines to create an IPCE action plan to address diversity in programming and processes.
