CME Webinars to Help Guide Clinicians Managing Diabetes Patients During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Rockpointe, 20 state medical societies, and the Potomac Center for Medical Education will offer three live continuing medical education (CME)/continuing education (CE)-certified, maintenance of certification (MOC)-eligible webinars on the latest guidance for managing diabetic patients during the COVID-19 pandemic. "Diabetes and COVID-19 in the Outpatient Setting: What Clinicians Need to Know" will focus on daily patient management, with an emphasis on COVID-19 pathophysiology and factors that elevate risks for patients. This series covers Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education and National Academy of Medicine competencies, including delivering patient-centered care and practicing evidence-based medicine. Successful completion of the free webinar allows participants to earn up to 1.0 Medical Knowledge MOC point in the American Board of Internal Medicine's MOC program.
